PVDR's Rescued Mules

PVDR has rescued a number of mules over the years.  In most cases, these mules have had no training and have not been handled. As with any rescued animal, there is potential in all of these mules but will require an experienced mule person to train them.

If you are interested in these mules, we would recommend that you schedule a time to come out to our San Angelo, TX facility and see the mules for yourself. Our California facility does not have any adoptable mules at this time.  PVDR can arrange to ship mules from our Texas Facility to our Cailfornia facility if there is enough interest. Please call Mark Meyers at 661-609-6220 if you have any questions.

As these mules are special cases, we have revised our adoption policy as follows:

1. Adopter acknowledges that these mules need training from an experienced handler.
2. Adopter assumes all risk and liability and agrees to hold PVDR harmless.
3. Adopter must return the mule to PVDR if they can no longer care for it unless they can find a suitable home*
    *(must be approved by PVDR)

There is no adoption fee attached to the mule program.  Adopter is expected to cover the transportation cost and in some cases the castration cost.

We will be posting more detailed information about each mule in the next two weeks.

The majority of the mules curently range in size from 42" to 50". There are four that stand over 54"
