Hawaiian Donkey Adoption Program

Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue is working with the HSUS in bringing the Kona Nightingale wild donkeys to the main lands.  These donkeys are wild.  If you do not have experience with donkeys we STRONGLY recommend that you consider adopting one of our gentled donkeys instead.

All of the Hawaiian Donkeys have had a thorough medical evaluation, they have received de-worming, vaccinations and the males have been castrated.

This is a rare opportunity to share a part of our nation's history by caring for a Hawaiian Donkey. These donkeys will be available at our Satellite locations in the Fall of 2011.

The adoption fee for the Hawaiian Donkeys is $200.00 for the first and $100 for any additional.

Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue will release a series of videos (shot at our Open House 10/29/11) to help instruct you on how to properly handle and care for your wild Hawaiian donkey.
